  • Angry Denny’s Customer Results in More Than a Grand Slam

KVUE News reports that a Denny’s customer annoyed at having to wait for his check decided instead to set one of the Christmas trees on fire in the San Antonio area restaurant. After consuming his lunchtime meal, the man stood waiting at the register while the waitress handled other customers first. Surveillance footage showed the man ultimately leaning over and setting the small Christmas tree next to the cash register on fire before fleeing. With damages estimated at close to $150,000, police continue to investigate. Sometimes poor customer service is more costly than we imagine!
