Individual Assessments
Each participant takes an online DISC assessment prior to the class. Then a multiple page, personal report is produced for each individual and discussed in class. As a result of this assessment, you will be able to:

  • Identify your personal DISC style – how you are “wired”
  • Learn what your strengths, weaknesses, preferences and natural behaviors are
  • Better understand your motivations, work habits and personality type
  • Utilize the information from the report to adapt your behavior to improve communication, reduce conflict and enhance your individual and team performance

Exploring Your DISC Style

  • Dominance: Direct and Decisive. D’s are strong-willed, strong-minded people who like accepting challenges, taking action and creating results.
  • Influence: Optimistic and Outgoing. I’s are social and enthusiastic, enjoy participating on teams, sharing ideas, and energizing and entertaining others.
  • Steadiness: Sympathetic and Cooperative. S’s are helpful people who like to be behind the scenes performing in consistent and predictable ways. They also tend to be good listeners who value security and do not like sudden change.
  • Conscientiousness: Concerned and Correct. C’s are sticklers for quality and like planning ahead, employing systematic approaches and checking and re-checking for accuracy.
